Milky Oats Oxymel // Alcohol Free Extract

Grown with care in richly fertile soil on a small, local NC Piedmont farm, the seed of oats (just like you cook for breakfast) are harvested at an immature stage in which they emit a milky white sap when squeezed. They are then extracted in Organic apple cider vinegar and local raw honey, with attention to obtaining as much of their milky sap possible. The extract is cloudy and opaque when shaken. It tastes like a sweet, vinegar, with a subtle creaminess and grassy sweetness. Also available in an alcohol-based tincture.
