Elderflower Elixir

An elixir made from our NC native fresh elderflower, native Sambucus canadensis. Elderflower has immune stimulant and diaphoretic properties, useful as an ally in healing acute respiratory infections and other viral infections. Diaphoretic means this herb, taken in hot water, can induce sweating, which can help to break a fever, or help restore the ability to sweat if it has been disrupted.

Fresh, wild NC elderflower, Organic cane alcohol, NC honey, filtered water, 70% ABV

I harvested the elderflower from several abundant trees at a nature preserve, leaving plenty to develop into berries for wildlife.

DIRECTIONS // Shake bottle. Adults take 2mL (~2.5 droppers) 3-4x/day or as needed. To use as a diaphoretic, add 2-3 droppers to boiled water.

Available in 1, 2 (pictured), and 4oz cobalt glass dropper bottles.
1oz bottle: 4" tall and 1.125" in diameter.
2oz bottle: 4.5" tall and 1.5" in diameter.

One ounce contains 15 2-mL servings. This dosage is for a 150 pound adult. It may be adjusted in proportion to the weight of the user. For instance, a 30lb child would take 1/5 of the 2mL dose, or 2/5mL, about half a dropperful. We are happy to help determine the appropriate dosage.
